Gilfords were never common but had a certain cachet. This is a 168OT model that was new to Ealing Direct Coaches.Previous | NextECW-bodied PD1s were quite common after the war, but most of them did not survive too long as they were timber-framed and only poor quality wood was available. Fortunately Hants and Dorset 1145 (GLJ 957) still survives.
