Oldham 368 in Todmorden on the first Trans-Pennine Run, 10th August 1969. Behind is Manchester 3095 which developed a severe chassis defect and was scrapped, to be replaced by almost-identical 3166.

Southport 116 at the back of Bolton Crook Street depot, where it was stored briefly after purchase for preservation in 1969. This bus still exists but has hardly been seen for over thirty years! I believe we are due a pleasant surprise before too long.
